NOOPEPT GVS-111
Despite noopept's purpose of improving memory and preventing cognitive decline, one of the main benefits of noopept is anxiety and mood improvement. One study concluded that noopept was more effective than piracetam as an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) and helped with feelings of irritability.
Noopept has been shown to stimulate and promote two proteins involved in generating fresh neurons and maintaining and strengthening damaged neurons in the Hippocampus. In one study, Noopept was shown to help treat Parkinson's disease by alleviating amyloid oligomeric cytotoxicity.
Noopept is a peptide promoted as a natural method to improve cognitive functions. However, there are still many variables to consider with improving cognitive skills. How well this supplement works depends on each user's own needs and current cognitive ability, as well as lifestyle choices.
Noopept Benefits and Research
We would be remiss without mentioning that many of the benefits of noopept come from studies, which are difficult to extrapolate to the average healthy adult. For example, many of the benefits of noopept that we described in the section above are related to the existing scientific literature on the subject. Unfortunately, few companies have the money to invest in research to discover all the potential noopept benefits because it is a nootropic that can no longer be patented.
